Xpress has been building aluminum fishing and hunting boats for more than 50 years, and it was the first to build them all-welded, with no rivets. Here’s what goes into every one, and the questions to ask before you buy any aluminum boat.
Call us at 386-873-4610 or stop by the lot in DeLand to see the Xpress lineup in person.
These are the questions we’d ask about any aluminum boat, answered for an Xpress.
Aluminum is lighter, so a boat gets on plane quicker, runs shallower and tows easier with less horsepower. It also holds up to stumps, oyster bars and boat ramps, and it costs less to repair. An all-welded aluminum hull like Xpress builds gives you that toughness without the rivets that can work loose over time.
Xpress builds a boat for nearly every kind of Florida water. We stock bay boats for the flats and nearshore, a bass boat, crappie boats, a skiff for skinny water and a duck boat. Tell us where you fish and what you’re after, and we’ll point you to the right hull.
The Xpress models we stock run from 17 to 24 feet, rated from 90 to 300 hp. Bring us your usual crew, where you launch and what you tow with, and we’ll match the boat and the power to the way you use it. Xpress is partnered with Yamaha, so every Xpress comes with a Yamaha outboard.
Every Xpress hull is cut from 5052 marine-grade aluminum and welded into one solid unit, with no rivets or screws holding the hull together. Every void is filled with foam for strength and flotation. See “What goes into an Xpress” below for the full build.
Xpress covers the transom and hull seam welds for the lifetime of the boat, with a 5-year basic limited warranty on workmanship and materials. Both can be transferred to a second owner.* In the rare case you ever need it, our factory-certified technicians take care of Xpress warranty work right here in our shop.

An aluminum boat lives a hard life: ramps, stumps, oyster bars and shallow water. Here’s how Xpress builds one to handle it.
All-welded, not riveted. Xpress was the first boat manufacturer to build all-welded aluminum boats. Every hull is welded into a single unit, with no rivets or screws holding it together.
5052 marine-grade aluminum. Every part is cut from 5052 aluminum alloy using computer-guided cutting, so each piece fits exactly before it’s welded.
Longitudinal ribs and a unibody build. Ribs that run the length of the hull add strength and help the boat perform, and the compartments and floor are built in to make one solid unibody structure.
Foam in every void. Expandable foam is injected into every open space in the hull, adding strength and flotation.
Hyper-Lift hull. Most of the Xpress models we stock ride on the Hyper-Lift hull, built for a quick holeshot and a smooth, dry ride.
Built by hand, checked twice. Skilled craftsmen and women weld every boat. Quality control checks each hull for smoothness before paint, and again after rigging. Paint is cured in temperature-controlled ovens.
A matching welded trailer. Every Xpress comes on a BackTrack trailer, which Xpress builds in-house, all-aluminum and all-welded, just like the boat.
Every Xpress we sell is rigged, inspected and delivered by our own factory-certified service team.
Questions about how an Xpress is built? Call us at 386-873-4610.
Lifetime coverage on the welds. Xpress covers the transom and hull seam welds for the lifetime of the boat.*
5-year basic limited warranty. Covers workmanship and materials for 5 years from the date of original purchase.*
Transferable. If you sell your Xpress, the lifetime coverage can be transferred once to the next owner during the 5-year basic warranty period, and the basic warranty can be transferred once during its first 2 years.*
Because every Xpress is welded into one solid unit with no rivets, it’s built to stay tight for years on the water.
And in the rare case your Xpress ever needs warranty work, our factory-certified technicians take care of it right here in our shop in DeLand.
*Limited warranty for recreational, non-commercial use. See the full Xpress warranty for terms and conditions; ask us for a copy.
